How we compare

We don't have a soundproof studio and we don't spend four hours mixing on every unit. We'd rather say that plainly than fake an authority we don't have.

What we do: we pull specs straight from the manufacturer's official documentation and Amazon's listing, then convert them into a comparable format (same numbers, same units) so you can put two products side by side without translating spec sheets yourself.

Then we read hundreds of real buyer reviews, not just the glowing five-star ones, the critical ones too, and summarize the patterns that keep showing up: what actually breaks, what pleasantly surprises people, what doesn't match the box.

From that we build an editor's score from 0 to 10 across several axes (performance, versatility, build quality, ease of use, portability and value for money). That score is our informed opinion, not a manufacturer spec, and every page says so clearly.

If something can't be confirmed anywhere reliable, we leave it blank. A dash beats a made-up number, that's the one rule we never bend.
