The HF125 is Numark's ultra-budget offering: a lightweight headphone with 7 positions adjustable on both sides, closed-back cups that reduce ambient noise, and a retractable 1.8-meter cable with a soldered 3.5mm jack (with a 6.35mm adapter included) that plugs into practically any mixer.
With 14,862 reviews and a 4.4/5 average, it's the third most-reviewed product in this entire catalog, a huge volume for a €14 headphone. It's the obvious choice for anyone starting out who doesn't want to invest much yet, with a 2-year factory warranty that offers some peace of mind despite the entry-level price. That said, don't expect the isolation or build level of a mid-range headphone.

I have used studio quality, very expensive BEyers and others in recording situations in the past. I just got a Yamaha electric piano, and I didn’t want to play too loud at night. I was about to spend a bit more money, but I’ve read so many bad reviews of the more expensive ones under $100 that I finally just settled on these $14 ones. The cord is not long it’s OK for what I am playing. I don’t think you could use it on a guitar amp without a curly extension or something. I am just sitting at a piano with it plugged in at my side. But, they are definitely low cost but the sound is fine. I think the trick is how long the connector wires on the ear pads will last. I would say as long as you’re not buying this for kids or if you don’t jerk it around a lot, it would be fine for many situations. If you’re planning on plugging it into an iPad or some similar device you will need to have a connector jack because this is the large size plug for an amplifier.(but I would not use this on a guitar amp. It’s not sturdy enough to be jumping around with a Guitar.).
✓ AmazonGreat sound. These provide very good quality not falling below highly price competitors.
✓ AmazonI bought this to replace the same model that the ear cup padding broke down on that I had for fifteen years. This set is definitely lower quality. First the right side doesn’t work because of the bad connection in the adapter. Second, it has an amateur 1/8” phone plug with an adapter that allows it to be plugged into professional equipment. I’ve been using Numark gear since 1984 and though it’s always been low to midrange quality, they knew better once upon a time. Also, the audio in this set is not as bright and clean as my old set. Nevertheless, you get what you pay for, and now that I’m retired and have less money to drop on gear, I won’t be buying studio quality, or even pro DJ quality, headphones any time soon. If you’re looking for something on the cheaps, these are adequate, especially if you only use digital music.
