The M4 is an old-school analog mixer: 3 channels, 3-band EQ on each, switchable phono/line inputs, and a replaceable crossfader with curve control and reverse mode built for scratching. It fits a 19-inch rack for a fixed install, or sits fine on a table for mobile use.

Most of the 570 reviews describe a rugged mixer that handles turntables, CD players and a computer at once without breaking a sweat. That said, it's worth mentioning: one review reports serious issues with inconsistent volume and an unreliable crossfader. A minority within a 4.5/5 average, but worth knowing before buying.

What buyers say

570 reviews with a high 4.5/5 average. The vast majority praise its ruggedness and the quality of transitions between turntables and digital players. There's at least one serious critical review about inconsistent volume and an unreliable crossfader, a minority, but real, and worth noting before buying.

This is a pretty bad mixer with tons of problems. Doesn't keep a consistent volume, crossfader is almost useless, equalisers don't do much. Pretty much unusable.

Great quality. Buttons and knobs are really smooth. I connected two Technics 1200's and my DDJ400. Transitions are like butter. I would definitely recommend this product.

It's a monster: surprisingly bigger and heavier than expected. The inputs allow me to use 2 different turntables, a CD player and my computer.
