RecognitionNamed best semi-pro/pro DJ controller by Digital DJ Tips

The DJ-707M grows out of a concrete idea: a mobile DJ doesn't just mix music, they're also the MC, sound tech, lighting designer, and sometimes even the event organizer. Roland responds with a hybrid unit that combines a live sound console, a speaker management system, and a full DJ controller, using the same DSP processing as Roland's digital audio consoles for a clean sound whether it's your own PA or whatever setup you find on site.

With 70 reviews and a 4.4/5 average, it has more modest backing than other products in this catalog, but comes with notable recognition: Digital DJ Tips named it best DJ controller in the semi-pro to pro category. At 5 kg with XLR, TRS jack, and MIDI DIN connectivity, it's built for mobile DJs who need to handle an event's complete sound, not just mixing.

CJ5 out of 5 stars

I have owned and also had considered many other brands before deciding on this controller, but this thing is solid, the appearance, the feel, the weight are all great. It has many inputs and outputs available. The microphone section is top class, there are effects and also feedback suppression built in, it's amazing. The jog wheels are not big but they work very well. The pads has a nice feel to them and are very precise. There are tons of features available which may be too much for a beginner dj or one who does not like to experiment and just need a plain controller. This is a very very good controller, just buy it. Good job Roland.

I had no hesitation in deciding to purchase this unit. I mean it IS A ROLAND.... Contrary to comments I've read, IT DOES HAVE A BUILT IN DRUM MACHINE WITH THE 707,808 SOUNDS! For some reason this isn't mentioned in the manual (Major Screw up printing/quality control dept. ?) I now prefer it over the Pioneer DJ Controllers. Sound better, Smaller, Lighter, Rock Solid Though and not cheaply built. (The Pioneer I still have DDJ-SX, Is well built also). More output channels, Sound Compressor, Limiter, Gate, Crossover, Dual Computer inputs, E.T.C. Well Done Roland and the price doesn't break the bank for the performance!

This is the second time I buy it here and again I had to return it because the problem was not fixed, and it is impossible to contact the support service, you need to fill in a lot of documentation, in general, the problem is that when you press the button to listen to the channel, for some reason, the indicators also light up equalizer, although no signal is sent to the equalizer, now this is only one defective channel, but in the last purchase there were 3 of them and only one worked fine! why this problem was not fixed to me is not clear!
