The SL-1210 MK7 is the historic benchmark of the DJ world, with the coreless direct-drive motor that made the original Technics famous, now with new-generation digital motor control technology. Digital pitch control improves tracking performance versus traditional analog potentiometers, and the high-rigidity chassis with a high-damping isolator minimizes external vibrations for a clean sound.

With 44 reviews and a 4.7/5 average, it has consistent backing for a turntable in this price tier. It doesn't include a cartridge (as is usual for the Technics 1200/1210, built so you choose your own professional cartridge), so factor in that extra cost. At €998, it's the absolute benchmark turntable of the DJ world.
