Spill-proof retractable legs and an external-input mixer, two ideas you won't see elsewhere in the catalog.
Best for: Anyone who values uncommon practical details (spill protection, mixing external sources) and doesn't mind deciding with fewer reviews backing it up than other options in the catalog.
Editor's score 0-10, only comparable within controllers.

The Inpulse 500 shares its layout with the rest of the 2-deck controllers in this segment, but adds a couple of details you don't see everywhere: retractable legs that lift the unit off the tabletop (extra protection if a drink spills nearby) and a hardware input mixer that lets you add effects to an external source like your phone or a music player, without going through the mixing software.
It's compatible with both Serato DJ Lite and DJUCED, the latter with Beatmatch lights that visually show whether two tracks are synced, genuinely useful for anyone still learning. That said, with only 8 reviews on Amazon.nl, the 4.4/5 rating is real but built on very few people; treat it with caution until more track record builds up.

Only 8 reviews on Amazon.nl averaging 4.4/5, honestly too few to draw firm conclusions. The available comments are positive and highlight its generous size compared to other entry controllers, though one user with over 20 years of experience is disappointed Spotify isn't supported.
Great dj controller and it's nice and big, unlike some other beginner cheap controllers. Have enjoyed it a lot!
