The DJControl Mix starts from a different idea than the rest of the catalog: it doesn't connect to a laptop, it pairs over Bluetooth with your phone or tablet and drives the djay app (free, once you close the djay Pro upgrade prompt). It includes a foldable smartphone stand and a splitter cable to monitor the mix over headphones while the main sound plays elsewhere.

With 711 reviews and 4.3/5, it works well for anyone who wants to mix without a computer. That said, one review notes the headphone jack doesn't work with the newest iPad Pros, likely due to the switch to USB-C without analog audio out, worth checking if your tablet is a recent model.

If you want to DJ from your android device or iPhone this works great. I haven't mastered all of the extras that come with the controller however, I'm having a blast learning the deck.

The cross fader for the headphones does not work, which limits the mixing capabilities.
